Thin clients enable efficient and convenient connection to virtualized workplaces and applications. They act as an intermediary between the user and his virtual workplace. Thin clients allow you to connect all manipulators, one or more monitors necessary for user work, and transfer information input/output operations to the user's virtual workplace using specialized protocols.
These are simple devices that may look like a micro form factor PC, they have a low-power CPU, a small amount of RAM and a medium for saving small amounts of information. Thin clients can come with or without an operating system installed (only the software is installed to load it and connect to the servers of the virtualized desktop and application infrastructure).
Thin clients are very easy to maintain and do not require administration because no user information is processed or stored on them.
